Our research

The focus of the research at CMM is to understand the causes of common, chronic, as well as undertreated diseases; to help developing new and patient-specific treatments by targeting disease relevant molecular mechanisms. We combine translational and basic science by providing a meeting place for university and hospital-based researchers. A large part of our projects are carried out in cooperation with national and international research partners, including patient organizations, leading university hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.
